Canine Acupuncture Point 2.1.1

This interactive software, published by Chi University, is the result of collaboration between Huisheng Xie, DVM, PhD, and Cheryl Chrisman, DVM, MS, EdS, ACVIM-Neurology, CVA. It aims to support canine acupuncturists in studying, reviewing, and practicing both transpositional and classical acupoints in dogs.

The software offers comprehensive resources for each canine acupoint, including:

• Pin Yin name and pronunciation
• Anatomical description
• Needling method
• Indications for use
• Illustrative pictures

Among its key features, the software includes:

• An overview of all 361 Canine Transpositional Acupoints
• A detailed exploration of all 77 Canine Classical Acupoints
• A tool for selecting acupoints based on syndromes and patterns
• An electro-acupuncture demonstration video
• A quick search feature for finding acupoints rapidly
• Multiple images for each acupoint to enhance understanding

Currently, the app is utilized by over 2,000 licensed veterinarians across more than 70 countries, facilitating their daily study and practice of veterinary acupuncture.
